My Neuvation M28 Aero 2's have been fantastic wheels - they'll be one of the first things I review, when I get to it.

In the meantime, try the reviews of theM28 Aero wheels at Roadbikereview.

The first thing to note is that for really, really cheap wheels, they're pretty light. 1720g w/out skewers is lighter than most Ksyriums, which seem to be the standard in road wheels. They come with rather tough bladed spokes, including extras in case you break a couple somehow.

One of the strongest selling points of these wheels is their extreme toughness. I used to use them as race wheels, but they were so durable that I started to use them as my training wheels, then as my cross wheels. I've only every trued them once, after hitting an enormous pothole. I didn't strictly have to true them, but after a couple weeks, I had the truing stand out for a different set of wheels, and decided to just give them a small tweak. I've hit some very rough stuff with these, both on the road and in cross, and have had no problems.

At least one guy in the Penn State Cycling club has trouble with breaking spokes, but once he switched to these, he's had no problems since.

Clearly, people love these. What's not immediately clear is what incredible customer service Neuvation provides. John Neugent (the owner/operator) has replied to emails within 24 hours, every single time I've asked him anything.

There's a review of a previous generation of the wheels at PezCycling. The wheels have had some pretty significant upgrades since then.

After riding these wheels, I was so impressed that I asked Neuvation Cycling to sponsor the Penn State Cycling club. And Neuvation came through, in a big way! Thanks to John Neugent for getting so many collegiate riders on great wheelsets.
